Finally back in St. Moritz! Last year, this magnificent singer won two Grammys for ‘Best Jazz Vocal Album’ and ‘Best Jazz Performance’. Well-deserved accolades for an artist who is not yet 30 years old. Her warm, expressive voice and her feel for classic jazz traditions inevitably lead to comparisons with giants such as Sarah Vaughan and Carmen McRae. Joy’s star is rising higher and higher. We strongly recommend attending her concert at the small Dracula Club before she presumably disappears into larger venues for good.
