Muralim

Muralim is like walking barefoot in the sand, like a plunge into cold water in summer, like the first

cup of coffee in the morning. muralim is music for the heart and soul, capturing those moments

when you forget everything else and only the here and now matters. The band met whilst studying at the Zurich University of the Arts and were soon after selected for the ‘Best of Swiss Jazz Bachelors’ series. The music is penned by saxophonist Mauro Reimann and is further developed through joint jamming sessions, drawing on the influences of all band members. The result is music that is almost impossible to resist. The melodies are catchy and at the same time sophisticated, the grooves invite you to tap your feet, and the band’s unbridled enthusiasm for playing makes the air above the stage crackle.
