Miles oder die Pendeluhr aus Montreux
Henning Mankell’s moving story is a tribute to the jazz genius Miles Davis, a man who suffered from loneliness and prejudice. Through the character of the scrap dealer, Daniel Rohr tells of the beauty of Juliette Gréco, of Swiss watches, of favourite chords and the loss of a loved one. The text not only sheds new light on a great musician, it also opens one’s heart. At its heart lies the friendship between the ordinary man and the great musical genius. The musical theme is ‘Sketches of Spain’, performed by the Zurich Jazz Orchestra.
