Take 6
The undisputed spearhead of a cappella jazz has a name: Take 6. The six magnificent singers masterfully blend gospel, R&B and swing with their complex arrangements. It was thanks to a certain Quincy Jones in the late 80s that Take 6 were introduced to a wider audience. The enthusiasm for their dazzling performances has never waned. With a playful ease of performance and a flair for sound balance, Take 6 are just as convincing today as they were at the beginning of their illustrious career.
