The Killin' Jivers
When Pontresina and its guests parade through the streets for ‘Viva la Via’, you need music that immediately motivates your dancing shoes with swing and verve. The festival provides ‘The Killin’ Jivers’ for this: Dirty, cheeky and full of turmoil - that was the jazz culture of the 1930s and it can still be that today, as the Killin' Jivers prove. With role models such as ‘Slim and Slam’ and ‘The cats and the fiddle’, they bring jazz back to the show stage without taking themselves too seriously.
