Helge Schneider

Everything has probably already been said and written about Helge Schneider. So we'll make up a few things here. He worked at times as a heart surgeon, but more often as a corpse washer and three times as a budgerigar in the coal pits of his home country. With us, he functions alternately as a festival bouncer and ambassadeur de jazz. Where he moves the parameter controls between "playing music" and "something else" this year is written in the stars. With Mr. Schneider, improvisation doesn't end with the last keys of the piano. Best entertainment, as always.
