Grégoire Maret & Edmar Castañeda
The Art of the Duo
The Belgian Toots Thielemans singlehandedly ennobled the mouth organ. Who is Thielemans' legitimate successor today? A Swiss! The charming Grégoire Maret, who was born in Geneva in 1975, has established himself in the US. He has performed with Stevie Wonder, Cassandra Wilson, Herbie Hancock and Pat Metheny. With the harp the Columbian Edmar Castañeda plays another instrument rarely used in jazz. This duo is indeed representing a very rare species of musicians.
This night features a double show: Maret & Castañeda will play after Ulf & Eric Wakenius. Two shows for the price of one!
