The French-Algerian singer and cellist Nesrine Belmokh became famous overnight in 2018 thanks to her debut album «Ahlam», which was produced by the German talent spotting label ACT. She turned out to be one of the great musical discoveries of our time (before that her exceptional talent had already caught the eyes and ears of musical directors Daniel Barenboim and Lorin Maazel). In her iridescent music Nesrine Belmokh reflects different influences from the Mediterranean world, building bridges between North Africa and Southern Europe. Now, there's a new album that simply carries the first name of the singer – a strong personal statement indeed.
