Founded in 2024 as the brainchild of two friends, the quintet's identity reflects the musical influences that have shaped the two founders over the years. They are inspired above all by the hard bop greats of the 1960s and the unforgettable years of the Blue Note label. Their aim is to authentically reproduce the characteristic sound of the classic quintet formations with tenor saxophone and trumpet of that time - and to develop this sound further from there.
