Just envision John McLaughin bringing together his fusion band Mahavishnu Orchestra and his Indian formation Shakti. Now you can just about imagine how Ekalavya sound like, a band from India, whose members don’t just feel at home with the music of their native country, but also know every trick in the fusion book. The mastermind behind Ekalavya is the dare-devil violinist Abhijith P S Nair, and the phenomenal electric bassist Mohini Dey is the rhythmic engine of the band. Fasten your sealtbelts!
