Benny's From Heaven
Hauser Terrace
The name of this quartet is an allusion to the title song of the movie "Pennies from Heaven" starring Bing Crosby. Benny of course refers to the "King of Swing" Benny Goodman, who wrote jazz history not only with his big band, but also with various small formations. And so the great hits of the clarinetist Goodman (e.g. "Stompin' at the Savoy" or "Lady Be Good") won't be missing on the playlist of the Benny's from Heaven.
