Arabesque

The singer Cæcilie Norby says about herself that she has a «musical hybrid heart». She grew up as the daughter of an opera singer and a conductor and classical music was the soundtrack of her childhood. As a teenager, Norby discovered jazz and eventually also embraced pop and rock. With her programme «Arabesque», the enticing crossover singer brings across her manifold musical preferences in an especially emphatic way. Besides her own songs, she will perform interpretations of compositions by Debussy and Ravel and dive deep into the love songs by Michel Legrand.
