Playing faster than his shadow, Al Di Meola is the Lucky Luke among the fusion guitarists. He became world-famous in the 1970s as a member of the band Return To Forever founded by Chick Corea. They set a new benchmark by combining unbelievable virtuosity with science fiction sounds. Alongside Paco de Lucia he proved that he is also a superb acoustic performer and from his concert last year, we know that the fresh mountain air of St. Moritz actually gives him wings.
