Ode

Two years ago Brad Mehldau delighted and amazed the audience with his sometimes intimate, sometimes intoxicating solo performance, oscillating between piano and forte. Now the high-flying jazz musician, who is not only a brilliant pianist but also a sophisticated composer, returns to the Upper-Engadine. He is accompanied by his long-time companions Larry Grenadier (bass) and Jeff Ballard (drums). They have been a trio since 2005 and judging from their latest album «Ode», which features a number of profound tributes, more than one stroke of genius can be expected on the night.
