Tim Fischer
Although the famous Austrian composer and cabaret artist Georg Kreisler hasn’t been performing on stage for over a decade, his dark and witty humour is still very present: the chansonnier Tim Fischer has taken over the role of the grumpy old man of cabaret and he knows exactly when to come up with the punch line for maximum effect. Avoiding big gestures and instead concentrating on details, Fischer manages to create an atmosphere full of emotional nuances and to get the ironic ambiguity of Kreisler’s texts across to his audience.
