Jacky Terrasson

Jacky Terrasson combines the exuberance of an Oscar Peterson with the formal subtleness of Ahmad Jamal. In other words: there’s the chance to see a brilliant and charming performer who doesn’t lack a good sense of humour. Born in Berlin in 1966, Terrasson grew up in Paris and later moved to the US where he stayed for several years. In 1993 he won the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition. As a result he was taken on by the legendary label Blue Note. This fabulous power trio knows how to juggle the notes creatively!
